The
Fair of public organizations and local government Euroregion “Bug”
The
Fair of public organizations and local government was held in Lublin
on May, 18. During two-days meeting it is planned the presentation
of Polish and Ukrainian partners, that collaborate by Euroregion
“Bug” Program from Poland - the Lublin region organizations, from
Ukraine – the Volyn region organizations. During the Fair were held
the seminars, concerning new possibilities of euroregional
cooperation after Poland came into the EU. The Fair became the base
for making contacts and campaign of transboarder partnership. Twenty
different organizations and local governments took part in the Fair,
eight of them were Ukrainian one.
As
Yan Fedirko, the organizer of the Fair and a member of the boarder
of the Nowy Staw Foundation said, “The cooperation between
Polish and Ukrainian non-government organizations lasts for many
years.” According to Vladyslav Stemkovskiy, chairman of
Nasha Sprava Center,
“Ukraine has a big hope, being in new geopolitical situation.”
The
Fair was made in the framework of the Build Europe Together
Program, that is realized by Nowy Staw Foundation in
Lublin, Poland in support of RITA III Program of Polish-American
Freedom Foundation, Education for Democracy Foundation and Stefan
Batory Foundation.
